My favorite local ski resort. Seven springs sets the bar pretty high for the amount of park features they offer. The crew does a great job getting as many trails open as they can and grooming them. Sometimes mother nature isn't on our side but they make the best of a bad situation whenever they can.

My first skiing experience here !

Did not dare to go up the lift to the higher slopes. My regret !

The beginner slope was fun. Although fell many time.
The instructors gave very good lessons.

Interesting place.
Love it.

If u are around Pittsburgh. This is the place to go.

The skiing is alright when you stay here, but when you pay $250+ a night for a hotel you would expect free breakfast. But no, it's $21 for the Breakfast Buffet! This hotel(Seven Springs Resort) is a money sucking pit, any opportunity they have to g t money out of you they will take it. If you do want to ski here, I recommend coming to ski only and not staying at the hotel unless you have thousands of dollars to blow.

Seven springs over all can be pricey. Although it is the best resort in the area to challenge your skiing skills. We went this past week even though it looked like all the slopes had snow on them. Limited on slopes/trails as well as lifts. I'm not sure if it's a staff shortage or a mid week thing. We got drinks at the foggy goggle for 2 drinks about $20, we didn't get anything fancy. Our service was good. We thought about staying at the hotel but $250+ wasn't worth it for us especially when these aren't 5 star hotel rooms.
ADDING TO REVIEW: went back a few weeks later ate at the foggy goggle. My favorite it the soft pretzel rods and cheese. I also got the chicken Cesar salad very good. My husband got a burger and friend got the chili and chicken fingers and fries. We also got the large nachos, definitely could feed 4 or more people. Both times we ordered our ordered were out in 15 min. Excellent service even though they were slammed.

I have skied in Utah and Hidden Mountain prior to coming to Seven Springs. Here's my thoughts.

My biggest criticism for this Ski Resort is that the trails are not clearly marked. I'm used to clearly marked trails at every corner and you can follow the colors all the way down the mountain. But this place does not do this well, so please be careful and be familiar with the map and the names of the trails so you don't accidentally go down a diamond and you are not ready for it.

But overall great experience, especially with the Epic Pass! They finally have the epic pass for all three ski resorts in Laurel Highlands. I downloaded the app on my phone and turned on bluetooth, and the attendants are able to scan my pass at the lift by just aiming the device at me. If you don't have the app, then you can carry the physical card in your pocket and they can scan you like that too. I also like that this place has a variety of trails, so if you are a beginner you have around 5 to 6 trails to choose from, and double more options if you are an intermediate or advanced.

My biggest tip for everyone is to get there as early as you can (before 9am!) Because parking runs out so quickly and if you want to park close to the lodge or close to the trail you need to get there early. Another thing is everything is so expensive here. If you want to save money, don't stay at the resort or rent at the resort. Stay at holiday inn or days inn (15-18 mins away) and rent at thrifty ski rentals.
