This might be a little bit of a long one. I've had 2 different engineers come to my house 3 times over the past 3 years. We have had signs that scream structural issues. We initially had some repairs made and I felt like maybe some things were missed, so I called Cherry Pi. Matt came out instead of Sean, the gentleman mentioned in the reviews I read. Well let me tell you about Matt. He was absolutely AMAZING! He took the time to listen to me about all of my concerns, took detailed notes of all my concerns, and also took the time to explain every single thing he was doing and why the house was showing the signs it was. Matt addressed every single concern I had! In the end, Matt told me that he believes the work done on my house was done correctly and he didn't see any signs of further structural damage. The reason I am glad I called Cherry Pi is because I feel like they went above and beyond when it came to the actual inspection. Matt went into my attic, only one of the 2 other engineers I had come out did that. Matt used a drone to check under my crawlspace thoroughly. Only one of the other 2 engineers I hired went in the crawlspace. Matt also used equipment to make sure my floor was level. Not a single other engineer did that. Only the contractor I hired to make the original repairs did that. Please keep in mind that I am not purposely talking negatively about the other engineers and companies. They gave me great advice and suggested repairs that made things right. It's just, as a customer, I feel like Matt really went the extra mile in making sure I understood everything, and he showed an actual concern for the wellbeing of my house. I will gladly recommend Matt and Cherry Pi to anyone who needs a structural engineer!
